The Mile High Kimchi logo features an iconic design: peaks, moon, and sun nestled in a bowl with chopsticks. The bowl and chopsticks represent Korean and Asian food culture. Inside the bowl, the peaks, moon (in white), and sun (in red) are intricately arranged, drawing inspiration from the traditional Korean art of Irworobongdo (일월오봉도, 日月五峯圖).

Irworobongdo is a symbolic painting depicting the sun, moon, and five peaks, embodying the majesty of the Joseon royal court. It is prominently displayed on a folding screen in the throne hall of a palace in South Korea.
The sun, represented in red, symbolizes the King as Yang, while the moon, depicted in white, represents the Queen as Yin. Yang embodies the positive male principle, and Yin represents the negative female principle. The five peaks signify the center of nature. These symbols not only represent the Joseon Royal Court but also underscore the King’s obligation to rule the country by maintaining harmony between nature and culture.
Mile High Kimchi LLC draws inspiration from Irworobongdo’s philosophy. We craft our kimchi with respect for diverse cultures and people, acknowledging Mother Nature’s bounty of fresh ingredients.
